In today’s Instagram video, we brought back a pair of Jordan 14 “Ferrari” sneakers that were soaked in chlorinated water at a pool party after our client got tossed into the pool fully dressed.
The result?

💦 Step-by-Step Chlorine Water Sneaker Recovery
1️⃣ Nap Reset with Shoe Eraser
We began with the Revive Kicks Shoe Eraser, gently rubbing across the suede to lift surface residue and rework the nap (the soft texture of suede that often stiffens after water damage).
This dry technique allowed us to reset the fibers before introducing any moisture back into the shoe.
2️⃣ Light Mist Cleaning to Even Out Dye
We used a fine mist spray bottle to lightly coat the discolored suede with Revive Kicks Shoe Cleaner, being careful not to oversaturate the shoe (which was already stressed from chlorine).
Using a soft bristle brush, we gently worked the cleaner across the upper to pull out embedded chlorine, dirt, and oils while helping to even out the suede dye.
3️⃣ Final Texture Restoration
After letting the shoes fully air dry, we brushed the suede again while dry using our soft bristle brush to raise the nap and restore the buttery finish Ferrari 14s are known for.
The shoes looked (and felt) brand new — vibrant, soft, and restored.
